Estimator

My client is seeking an Estimator to play a key role in delivering high-quality, innovative, and commercially successful projects. Working closely with the Managing Director and operations team, you''ll help ensure every project runs smoothly, on budget, and to the highest standards-all within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Your Role
You''ll lead the estimating process across a diverse range of construction projects. Key responsibilities will include:
-Preparing and reviewing detailed cost estimates
-Liaising with trade partners, suppliers, and the project team
-Producing accurate estimates and purchase orders
-Managing vendor bid pricing and carrying out cost analysis
-Reviewing drawings and specifications to fully understand project scope
-Building and maintaining strong supplier and subcontractor relationships
-Ensuring estimates, budgets, and programmes are delivered on time
What We''re Looking For
We''re seeking someone with a strong background in construction estimating or quantity surveying, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact.
The ideal candidate will have:
-Proven experience in estimating or quantity surveying
-Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
-A detail-focused and analytical approach
-Confidence in managing budgets and meeting deadlines
-Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
-A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
