JN Bentley is looking for a talented and detail-driven Estimator to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the Manchester region, while also being an integral part of our larger Bidding and Estimating department. Your role will be based in our new Manchester office, which is located centrally in Piccadilly Gardens. You will be working on clean and wastewater projects for our capital delivery framework with our client, United Utilities, with a number of projects to price as we head into AMP8.

We are also keen to speak to people with a civil engineering background that would be interested in the role. Whether you are a Quantity Surveyor, Planner, Engineer, Site staff, we would be interested in speaking to you too.

This is an exciting role allowing you the chance to gain hands-on experience from the people delivering the projects and benefit from the support of our experienced estimators across the company.

For this role, you will need:
-
Experience in a similar role from a civils/construction background
Attention to detail and commercially astute
Familiarity of working with NEC/JCT Form of Contract
Understanding of commercial, contractual and procurement processes

With typical projects ranging in value from <-1m to in excess of -30m it presents you with a variety of schemes of differing scale, complexity, and scope.
