We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in the Midlands area. This role offers the opportunity to work on refurbishment, construction, and maintenance projects across custodial, education, commercial, and residential sectors. You’ll play a key part in producing accurate and competitive tender submissions, typically ranging between £50K and £2M.

In this role you will be working within the estimating team to support tender bids and project delivery. You will be responsible for:

• Developing and preparing comprehensive cost estimates for tender bids (£50K–£2M)

• Collating and analysing material, labour, plant, and subcontractor quotations

• Ensuring accurate risk assessment, including inflation and logistics factors

• Coordinating with internal teams to align tender documentation and pricing

• Monitoring sector activity in custodial, education, commercial, refurbishment, residential, and maintenance works

• Maintaining organised and auditable records for all estimates

• Travelling across the Midlands and Northern regions as required

As an Estimator, you must have experience with:

• Proven track record estimating refurbishment and general construction projects (£50K–£2M)

• Strong numerical, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Full UK driving licence and own transport

• Minimum 4 years’ estimating experience

It would be beneficial to the Estimator role if you also had:

• RICS, BSc, BEng, or CIOB qualification

• Sector experience in custodial, education, commercial, residential, or maintenance projects

• A valid DBS certificate
