Estimator Construction / Infrastructure Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We are working with an established specialist contractor operating across the construction, infrastructure and refurbishment sectors to recruit an experienced Estimator. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Estimator to join a growing business delivering a diverse range of projects across the UK. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing competitive tenders, analysing project costs and supporting the commercial team in securing new business. The role would suit an Estimator with experience in construction, civil engineering, structural refurbishment or specialist contracting who is looking to join a business with a strong project pipeline and opportunities for career progression. Key Responsibilities Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for construction and infrastructure projects. Review tender documentation, specifications, drawings and bills of quantities to establish project requirements. Undertake detailed take-offs and measurements to quantify materials, labour, plant and subcontractor requirements. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Identify commercial risks, opportunities and potential value engineering solutions during the tender process. Prepare tender submissions, cost breakdowns and supporting documentation.
