Job Title: Estimator Sector: Structural and Architectural MetalworkLocation: Somerset Salary: 40,000- 50,000The business delivers structural and architectural metalwork projects and is looking for someone with strong estimating expertise who can accurately price work and contribute to securing new projects. This role is primarily focused on estimating, while also offering involvement in project delivery, detailing and design coordination. It would suit an individual with a background in structural or architectural metalwork who enjoys working closely with colleagues in an office-based environment. As a Estimator you will:Prepare accurate estimates and tender submissions for structural and architectural metalwork projectsReview drawings, specifications and client requirements to develop competitive quotationsLiaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing informationAssess project costs, risks and commercial opportunitiesSupport the progression of projects from tender stage through to completion where requiredCoordinate drawings, detailing and outsourced design activitiesMaintain estimating records and documentationWork closely with internal teams to ensure effective communication and project handoverExperience Required:Proven estimating experience within structural metalwork, architectural metalwork or a closely related sectorStrong understanding of fabrication and metalwork construction processesExperience preparing detailed quotations and tender ..... full job details .....
