Estimator/Senior Estimator Civil engineering/EHV Power Wigan - Permanent - Competitive Salary Office Based Summary Our client, a specialist civil engineering construction company operating within the Extra High Voltage (EHV) Power sector, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for electricity substation civil works and EHV cable installation projects. This includes earthworks, groundworks, drainage, reinforced concrete foundations, roads, trough-laying, ducting, cable pulling, and temporary works. You will manage the entire tender process from reviewing ITT documentation to submission, ensuring all bids are competitive, compliant, and commercially viable. The role requires strong first principles estimating skills, the ability to obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, and the preparation of programmes, plans, and submission documents. You will liaise closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality tender packages within deadlines.
