About You
To be successful, you will likely bring:

• Significant experience in estimating, tendering, proposals or commercial leadership roles.
• Experience within construction, mining, resources, infrastructure, energy, engineering or EPC/EPCM environments.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project delivery models.
• Proven experience leading major tenders and multidisciplinary bid teams.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capability.
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commerce or a related discipline.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the estimating team, providing mentoring, coaching and technical guidance.
• Manage the preparation and submission of complex tenders and cost estimates.
• Develop bid and tender strategies to maximise project success rates.
• Review pricing, commercial risks, assumptions and estimate methodologies.
• Work closely with operations, project delivery, procurement and commercial teams during the tender process.
• Engage with clients, suppliers and subcontractors throughout bid development.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, compliant tender submissions.
• Drive continuous improvement across estimating systems, processes and governance.
• Support business development and work-winning activities across key markets.

You will play a pivotal role in securing future work, influencing bid strategy and ensuring tenders align with both client requirements and business objectives.
