Estimating Engineer

Job Description: Job Summary We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-focused Estimating Engineer to join an established manufacturing business, preparing accurate, competitive quotations to deliver reliable and sustainable solutions. We are looking for an individual with an attention to detail, a natural ability to communicate with both clients and suppliers, ensuring proposals are accurately costed and ready for production. You will work closely with Engineering, Production and Purchasing teams to produce accurate costings, negotiate the best value with suppliers and identify value engineering opportunities. Responsibilities Managing and producing accurate, competitive technical and commercial quotations from initial enquiry to quotation Review technical drawings, specifications, and CAD models to accurately interpret client requirements Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholders throughout the tender process Conducting site visits (where required) to assess specific project requirements Build and develop strong and long-term relationships with clients and suppliers Support the operational team in delivering the client expectations Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to determine the most cost-effective manufacturing solutions and identify value engineering opportunities Requirements A strong engineering or manufacturing background with good awareness of CNC turning and milling principles A thorough understanding of engineering ..... full job details .....
