Estimating Assistant

An established and highly regarded construction and fit out contractor is looking for an Estimating Assistant to join its growing pre-construction team. The company delivers high quality commercial projects and is looking for someone with previous experience supporting an estimating or preconstruction function within the construction industry. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing experience and develop their career within a busy and established estimating team. Working as part of the estimating team, you will provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support throughout the tendering and estimating process. You will help keep tenders organised, ensure information is issued and received correctly and support the Estimators with the preparation and administration of tender submissions. The role offers hybrid working, combining time in the Central London office with the flexibility to work from home. Roles and Responsibilities: Providing administrative support to the Estimating and Pre-Construction team Assisting with the preparation and submission of tenders Managing tender documentation, drawings, specifications and supporting information Downloading and distributing tender documents to the relevant team members Maintaining tender trackers and ensuring key dates and deadlines are monitored Assisting Estimators with obtaining quotations and following up subcontractors and suppliers Updating spreadsheets and tender information ..... full job details .....
