This is a contract role paying -450 per day, offered on a very hybrid basis with just one day a week required in the office; private sector backgrounds are very welcome to apply. What you will be doing: Managing the property portfolio, worth circa -2.77bn, to maximise value, reduce costs and increase returns Identifying and executing value add and asset management opportunities across the portfolio Delivering commercial arrangements, including leases and acquisitions, that meet the council''s needs Acting as intelligent client to the supply chain and property managers on all property management issues Supporting the wider property strategy, including regeneration, development enabling work and asset disposals Building robust business cases and progressing them through investment boards up to Cabinet approval What you will need: MRICS qualification with strong portfolio and estates management experience A background in property management, acquisitions, disposals or development; local authority exposure is usefu...
