The salary for this vacancy is £28,000 - £31,000 per annum (depending on experience) working 39 hours per week.Shift times will be Monday to Friday either (Apply online only) or (Apply online only) with some out of hours required for emergency call outs. As this role is based within the education sector, an Enhanced DBS check is required. Candidates must either hold a current Enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one prior to starting employment.About the roleYou will play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, compliant and welcoming environment for our learners, staff and visitors.Working as part of the Estates team, you will undertake planned and reactive maintenance, PPM, building and plant inspections and statutory compliance checks. You will respond to estates emergencies, manage work through our Service Desk/CAFM system and help ensure issues are resolved safely and effectively.You will also coordinate and monitor contractors, including access, inductions, RAMS and permits to work, and ensure work is completed safely and to the required standard.This is ...
