Estates Manager

This is an excellent opportunity for a RICS-qualified Estates Manager to oversee a national portfolio of 150 retail stores and 70 residential units, leading landlord and tenant matters, lease negotiations, acquisitions, disposals, and estate strategy. The role combines portfolio management with strategic responsibility, working closely with senior leadership to maximise property performance, control costs, and drive long-term value across the estate.Client DetailsAn organisation located in London.DescriptionEstates Manager Key Responsibilities: Manage the day-to-day operation of a national retail and residential property portfolio.Lead landlord and tenant negotiations, including lease renewals, rent reviews, acquisitions, and disposals.Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords, agents, solicitors, and other professional advisors.Oversee commercial and residential lettings activity.Manage the company''s business rates liability and identify cost-saving opportunities across the estate.Lead negotiations relating to dilapidations and other property disputes.Work collaboratively with Legal, Finance, Operations, and Maintenance teams to ensure efficient property management.Produce reports, financial appraisals, recommendations, and feasibility studies for senior stakeholders.Identify opportunities to maximise value and utilisation across the portfolio.Line manage and support a Property Co-ordinator.ProfileA successful Estates Manager should have: MRICS ..... full job details .....
