Your work will directly support the safe and effective delivery of patient care across Trust sites.What you''ll doMaintain, repair and fault-find on mechanical systems and equipment.Work on heating, steam, water, plumbing, HVAC, medical gas, decontamination and associated systems.Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and commissioning.Undertake new installations and improvement works.Follow relevant NHS Health Technical Memorandums (HTMs), Trust procedures and safety standards.Respond to emergencies and, following appropriate training, participate in the Estates on-call rota.Work collaboratively with colleagues, clinical teams and contractors.You''ll also work one weekend day each month for PPM/reactive work, with a day off in lieu the following week.
