Estates Capital Project Manager (client-side)

Your new company The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a public body based in Belfast, to assist in recruiting an Estates Capital Project Manager on a 2 year fixed term contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Estates Capital Project Manager to join a government body where you will have responsibility for delivering a diverse portfolio of capital construction projects across Northern Ireland.This is a client-side project management role, offering the opportunity to lead projects from initial concept and feasibility through design, procurement, construction and final handover. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors and multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.Your new role Reporting to the Head of Estates, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of allocated capital projects, playing a key role in planning, coordinating and managing construction projects. This will include:Managing capital construction projects from feasibility and design through to completion and handover.Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder engagement throughout the project life cycle.Developing and maintaining project delivery plans, business cases, programmes and risk registers.Monitoring project budgets, controlling expenditure and ensuring value for money is ..... full job details .....
