Estate Services Operative (Cleaning)Location: Hastings, East Sussex - covering sites across TN34, TN35 and TN38Contract: Temporary, Part TimeHours: Monday to FridayShift: 7:00am-2:00pmPay Rate: 13.92 per hourContract Dates: ASAP start to 15 November 2026DBS: Basic DBS requiredOur client is looking for an Estate Services Operative to provide cleaning and estate services across a number of sites within the Hastings area.Key Responsibilities:Clean communal areas to a high standard, including lifts, stairwells, floors, walls and windows.Keep refuse areas clean, tidy and safe.Carry out litter picking and remove bulk rubbish and fly tipping.Handle cleaning materials and equipment safely and in line with health and safety requirements.Use PPE and cleaning machinery correctly and report any faults or incidents.Follow risk assessments, COSHH requirements and other health and safety procedures.Assist with tasks such as snow clearance, gritting and minor repairs in communal areas when required.Manage and report cleaning materials and equipment.Use scheduling software to record daily activities.Carry out other reasonable duties as directed.Essential Requirements:Previous experience in a cleaning, estate services or similar role.Experience using cleaning machinery and equipment.Full UK driving licence and willingness to operate company vehicles, including vans and tipper transits.Ability to work both indoors and outdoors.Physically able to carry out manual duties.Basic numeracy and ..... full job details .....
