Job Title: Estate OperativeSalary: £26,000 per annumLocation: Poplar, East LondonWorking Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pmAbout the RoleWe are seeking a reliable and proactive Estate Operative to help maintain a high standard across a residential development in Poplar, East London. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the estate remains clean, safe, and well-presented at all times, while delivering excellent customer service to residents and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the site.This is a hands-on role involving estate upkeep, waste management, cleaning duties, and general site support.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all bin stores are kept clean and tidy on a daily basisDisinfect bin stores weekly, including jet washing four times per yearMove bins for scheduled collections and return them after collectionBreak down and dispose of bulk waste where appropriateSweep and maintain cycle stores on a weekly basisSweep and clear car parks weeklyKeep courtyards and communal areas clean and presentableCarry out litter picking across the estateEmpty litter bins regularlySweep leaves and debris from all external areasMaintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the estateSkills and ExperienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsReliable, punctual, and self-motivatedGood attention to detailProactive approach to tasks and problem-solvingAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyBenefits20 days annual leave + bank ..... full job details .....
