We''re working with a well-known, highly established brand in North Birmingham who are looking to bring an ER specialist into their HR team on an initial 3-month temporary basis. This is a hands-on role where you''ll play an important part in supporting managers across a broad range of employee relations matters. You''ll be confident providing practical, commercially focused advice and will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are quite the same.The roleYou''ll work closely with managers and the wider HR team, providing advice and guidance across areas including:Disciplinary and grievance processesPerformance management and capabilityAbsence and attendance managementConducting and supporting investigationsAdvising managers on HR policies and employment legislationCoaching and supporting managers through ER processesEnsuring cases are handled fairly, consistently and in line with best practiceSupporting with wider HR activity as requiredAbout youWe''re looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is comfortable managing ER matters with a good degree of autonomy. You''ll ideally have previous experience in an ER Advisor, HR Advisor or similar role, with strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and confidence dealing with sometimes complex or sensitive employee relations issues. ..... full job details .....
