Our client, a boutique asset manager, is looking to hire a long only Equity Analyst. This role will involve generating and researching potential investment ideas. As part of a small team, you will be working closely with a group of experienced fund managers and actively involved in the investment decision making.Key responsibilities:Identify investment opportunities through detailed company, sector, and market analysis.Construct financial models and perform financial analysis.Develop and maintain investment idea generation screens.Arrange and attend company meetings.Candidate Profile:Degree from a top tier university (no degree subject constraints).2-5 years’ equity research experience on the buy-side.Genuine interest and passion for investing.Preferably working towards CFA.A strong intellectual curiosity in how businesses operate.Strong numerical and analytical problem-solving skills.Confidence and skills to present own views and opinions.Mason Blake acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
