Job Title: Settlement AnalystJob DescriptionThe Settlement Analyst manages equity settlement activities within the Equity Operations function across multiple books, ensuring smooth and efficient settlements and effective management of exposure. The role focuses on cash equity products, covering markets including the UK (Crest), Europe, North America, South Africa and selected Asian/Pacific markets. You will work closely with trading desks, clients and internal operational teams to ensure accurate trade matching, timely settlement and robust reconciliation of stock and cash positions in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesManage equity settlements in a dynamic, fluid environment, ensuring trades settle accurately and on time across multiple markets and entities.Oversee cash payments and processing, including providing funding assistance to support daily trading and settlement activities.Perform daily stock and cash reconciliations, reviewing and resolving reconciliation items promptly to minimise breaks and operational risk.Monitor and manage trade matching, settlement and fails processes, particularly in the USA and Canada, taking proactive action to reduce fails and exposure.Troubleshoot issues related to international settlements and cash management, identifying root causes and implementing effective resolutions.Liaise closely with traders, counterparties, clients and other banking groups to ensure trade details are accurately matched and all trade instructions are in ..... full job details .....
