Equipment Design Authority

Copello have partnered with an established engineering business in the recruitment of a Design Authority, supporting the development, certification and in-service evolution of complex electronic systems used in high-integrity applications.

Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you''ll provide technical leadership across hardware, software and systems engineering, ensuring products continue to meet customer requirements throughout their lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing technical leadership for complex electronic systems
• Managing product design, development and certification activities
• Supporting system architecture, requirements and verification
• Identifying and managing technical risks and opportunities
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and key stakeholders
• Supporting ongoing product improvements and in-service support

We''re looking for candidates with:

• Experience in systems, electronics or software engineering
• Technical leadership or design authority experience within complex engineering projects
• Knowledge of systems engineering and requirements management
• Understanding of hardware/software integration and product verification
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
