EQD Application Support

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong EQD Application Support Engineer to support applications within an Equities Derivatives trading environment. The role focuses on maintaining system stability, resolving production issues, and supporting business-critical trading platforms.What you''ll do:Provide L2/L3 application support within an EQD trading environmentInvestigate and resolve production incidents (P1/P2) impacting trading systemsPerform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventative improvementsMonitor systems proactively and address issues before business impactWork closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teamsSupport releases, deployments, and BAU activitiesWhat you''ll bring:Strong Linux/Unix command line skills (processes, logs, troubleshooting)Hands-on scripting experience (Python and/or Bash)Strong SQL skills (querying, data analysis, troubleshooting)Proven experience in application / production supportKnowledge of Equities / Equities Derivatives (EQD) productsExperience in trading systems or front-office environmentsFamiliarity with monitoring tools (Geneos, Splunk, Dynatrace, etc.)Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all ..... full job details .....
