EPOS Field Engineer

We are seeking a skilled project EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) AND SCO (Self-Checkout) Field Engineers to install client locations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to customer service. Looking for flexible people happy to work days, nights and weekend. Based on a rate card, Travel, Hotels and Miles are paid. You will be based in Cambridge or Peterborough or within 20 mile radiusKey Responsibilities:Installation andamp; Setup:Install, configure, and test EPOS systems including tills, receipt printers, barcode scanners, card readers, and Back Office systems.Perform site surveys and pre-installation assessments.Maintenance andamp; Troubleshooting:Respond to service calls and diagnose hardware/software faults.Repair or replace faulty components and ensure minimal downtime.Provide on-site support and ensure systems are fully operational.RequirementsCSCS/ECS (Help can be given to obtain)POS equipment Installation and Deinstallation experience essential.Positive attitude and a team player.Asbestos Awareness (Mandatory) Will provide thisWilling to be flexible in travelReliable motor vehicle.Safety boots (Other PPE will be provided, Hi Viz, Goggles etc) Will be providedBasic hand tools, Screwdriver, cordless drill, side cutters and small socket set.Lap -Top.More information given on application WA Consultants is an Employment Business and an Employment Agency as described within The Conduct of ..... full job details .....
