EP - Functional Tester

ROLE TITLE: Functional TesterLOCATION: Winchester or London - IBM office, minimum 3 days per week INITIAL WORKING PATTERN: 5 days onsite during the first month, subject to project requirements CLEARANCE: BPSS and client clearance required MANDATORY: Minimum 5 years'' UK residency; candidates must currently be based in the UK We are actively looking to secure a Functional Tester to support a major Department for Work and Pensions transformation programme. This role sits within a large IBM programme team supporting the re-factoring and migration of key DWP applications. You will work closely with IBM, client and multi-supplier teams to ensure that the application is thoroughly tested, validated and quality-assured throughout the migration process and before deployment.Job Purpose / The RoleAs a Functional Tester, you will support the definition and delivery of testing activities across the programme. You will contribute to test strategy and planning, create and execute test artefacts, manage defects and provide assurance that the refactored application meets functional and quality requirements.
