The successful tutor will have experience supporting secondary-aged learners who are accessing Education Other Than At School (EOTAS) provision and may have SEND and/or SEMH needs. You will be confident adapting your teaching style, pace and resources to meet individual learning needs, while creating a calm, structured and positive environment where the learner can build confidence and re-engage with education. Experience supporting young people with anxiety, school avoidance, disengagement, emotionally based school non-attendance or challenging behaviour would be highly desirable. This is an in-person tutoring role and is not online work. The role may involve: Providing personalised one-to-one tuition to a secondary-aged learner accessing EOTAS provision.
