      <description>Location: Hereford | Salary: &amp;pound;30 - &amp;pound;33/hour | Type: Part Time | Secondary Maths SEND Tutor - Hereford    Location:  Hereford, Herefordshire  Subject:  Maths  Phase:  Secondary / SEND  Working Arrangement:  In-person  Quantum Scholars are looking for a patient, supportive and experienced Secondary Maths SEND Tutor to provide personalised one-to-one educational support to a young person in Hereford.  The successful tutor will have strong Maths subject knowledge and experience supporting learners with SEND and/or SEMH needs. You will be confident adapting your teaching style, pace, resources and explanations to meet individual learning needs, while helping the learner build confidence and make positive academic progress.  Experience supporting young people who have barriers to accessing mainstream education, including anxiety, school avoidance, disengagement or challenging behaviour, would be highly desirable.  The ability to create a calm, structured and supportive learning environment will be essential.  This is an in-person tutoring role and is not online work.   The role may involve:    Providing personalised one-to-one Maths tuition to a secondary-aged learner.  Supporting the secondary Maths curriculum and GCSE preparation where appropriate....</description>
