SEND Learning Support Assistant - Year 6 EOTAS ProvisionLocation: Wokingham, BerkshireHours: 10 hours per week (days and timings flexible) Contract: Part-Time Long-Term - Ongoing for the full academic yearStart Date: September 2026Quantum Scholars are currently recruiting for an experienced and compassionate Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide 1:1 support to a Year 6 pupil who is accessing an Education Otherwise Than at School (EOTAS) provision.This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced education professional who is passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and helping them to engage with learning in a safe, supportive and personalised environment.About the RoleThis is not a school-based position. The successful candidate will work directly with the pupil within their home environment, providing consistent 1:1 support as part of their personalised EOTAS programme.You will work closely with the pupil, their family and the wider education team to support their learning, development and engagement.The role will involve:Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 6 pupil with SEND.Supporting the pupil to access and engage with their personalised learning programme.Helping to develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours.Adapting activities and approaches to meet the pupil''s individual needs.Providing encouragement and reassurance where required.Building a positive, trusting and consistent ..... full job details .....
