This role will support Skanska UK in its aspiration to be seen as the leading green contractor and developer, by delivering on environmental strategies, objectives and targets.What you\''ll do

Support the delivery of Carbon/BREEAM/WELL/LEED/NABERS certifications on projects including the assimilation of monthly dataProvide guidance, advice and steer on environmental policy and legislation, environmental and carbon strategy, and customer requirementsConduct regular sites and subcontractors\'' environmental checks, inspections and auditsDeliver environmental training courses, toolbox talks (TBTs) and briefing sessions to internal and external parties in line with Skanska requirementsSupport the delivery of projects\'' carbon requirements through calculations and reduction opportunities. This will involve interaction with digital systems and tools to calculate and communicate carbon plansWhat you\''ll bring to the role

Degree level and/or relevant experience in appropriate environmental disciplineUnderstanding of the Building Services section including MEP and/or construction sectorKnowledge and experience of collating, monitoring and reporting environmental and carbon dataExperience / competence in embodied carbon assessment methods, reporting standards and guidance, and their applicability across the Built sector, including the RICS Whole Life Carbon approachEqual opportunities
