We are currently looking for an experienced Environmental Protection Officer / Private Water Supply Officer to support a local authority with an existing backlog of Environmental Protection work.

This is an immediate-start, 10-week contract, offering up to 30 hours per week, with flexibility around working patterns. The client can accommodate 4 or 5 working days per week and offers a flexible/hybrid working arrangement.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience within Environmental Protection, with particular preference given to those who have previously undertaken Private Water Supply (PWS) risk assessments and can confidently manage their own caseload with minimal supervision.

Immediate start available
Up to 30 hours per week, depending on agreed hourly rate
Flexible 4 or 5-day working week
Hybrid/flexible working arrangements
Supporting with an existing Environmental Protection backlog
Experience conducting Private Water Supply risk assessments highly desirable
Local authority Environmental Protection experience preferred
