Total Waste Recruitment seeking to appoint an Environmental Permitting Consultant at Senior or Principal level to join a growing team of specialist environmental consultants. Location: Coventry and surrounding areas Salary: £40-60k Job Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Role This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering Environmental Permitting services within the UK waste management and industrial sectors, supporting a diverse portfolio of projects including landfill, waste treatment, hazardous waste, and resource recovery operations. You will provide technical leadership, regulatory expertise, and project management support, working closely with clients, the Environment Agency, and local authorities. Key Responsibilities • Deliver expert support across a wide range of Environmental Permitting projects • Prepare and manage permit applications, environmental risk assessments, and management plans • Oversee projects and mentor junior consultants • Interpret environmental monitoring data and produce detailed technical reports • Liaise with waste operators, regulators, and stakeholders • Ensure compliance with UK environmental legislation and permitting regulations • About You We are looking for candidates with strong experience in Environmental Permitting and regulatory compliance, ideally within the waste management or industrial sectors.
