Environmental Officer

CSS Recruitment are looking for an Environmental Officer for Parks & Open Spaces to cover the Castle Point Borough.

Due to the nature of this role, the successful candidate will be required to work on-site only.-

Required for two days per week, the Environmental Officer will need to be able to undertake routine inspections such as Safety Culture inspections and to ensure the provision of high-quality Council-owned land and facilities which are safe to use.

Experience required:

• Able to work on own
• Pro-active mindset
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in operating and maintaining open spaces and associated facilities, including programmed inspections and equipment audits
• Experience of working with community groups.
• Knowledge of and experience in horticultural activities.
• Knowledge of and experience in enforcing relevant legislation.
