Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this pivotal role involves driving environmental improvements across the company, managing a small team, and engaging with various stakeholders including suppliers, customers, NGOs, and government bodies. The role also requires some foreign travel. Day-to-day of the role: Collaborate with the management and purchasing team to manage corporate environmental compliance and purchasing governance. Ensure all processes comply with the UK Timber Regulation, Construction Products Regulation, Modern Slavery Act, and EUDR Compliance. Maintain a robust due diligence system to ensure compliance with the UK Timber Regulation, including assessing and auditing suppliers, and coordinating with external service providers.
