The role will be overseeing various environmental initiatives with local authorities across their site in Southampton.Responsibilities of the Environmental Manager will include:Ensure full compliance with environmental legislationMaintain the site Environmental Management System (EMS) and ensure continued ISO14001 certificationMonitor and manage Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions, reporting progress towards their Net Zero and sustainability goalsLiaise with the Environment Agency and being the main point of contact for key stakeholdersThe successful Environmental Manager will have:Proven experience in a similar role within waste, chemicals or a related industryDegree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related disciplineThe ability to influence and engage with all levels of the organisationPreferably some experience in environmental management or sustainability rolesThis position would suit an experienced Environment professional who enjoys ..... full job details .....
