Thrive Oldham are recruiting on behalf of Tameside Council 2 Environmental Cleaning Operative Role 1 Hours of work Monday to Saturday with a Wednesday off in the week - 36 hoursRole 2 Hours of work Monday to Friday - 36 hoursWill need to be physically fit, the job will include a lot of walking, working outdoors in all weathers and general street cleansing duties.Main Duties and Responsibilities include:Litter pickingEmptying littler binsLow level Graffiti removalLow level Fly tipping removalRemoval of dead animals/syringesAssist in staging various eventsUse of a range of hand/tools small machinery, including back pack blowers The duties may vary from time to time without changing the nature of the post or the level of responsibility, and the post holder may also be required to carry out any other duties appropriate to the grading of the postYour essential skills, knowledge and experienceExperience of environmental maintenance tasks relevant to the work of the postAble to quickly learn new tasks and to follow instructionAble to use small hand tools and equipment safely, efficiently and skilfullyAble to show initiative to tackle new tasks, quickly, effectively and with a high standard of workmanshipAble to work with others co-operatively and effectively to deliver high quality workAble to work under pressure and to high standards in terms of time and work qualityAble to work outdoors and in all weather conditions with appropriate protective clothing/equipment providing it is ..... full job details .....
