This is a fast-paced, varied role dealing with complex statutory nuisance and pollution issues.Key responsibilitiesInvestigate statutory nuisance complaints (noise, dust, smoke, fumes, light)Enforce Environmental Protection Act 1990 and related legislationRegulate construction sites and assess Section 61 applicationsTake enforcement action, gather evidence, and prepare legal casesProvide advice to residents, businesses, and stakeholdersManage complex and sensitive caseworkSenior / Principal level dutiesLead complex investigations and projectsPrepare prosecution cases and provide expert adviceSupport policy development and mentor junior staffAbout youStrong experience in statutory nuisance and pollution controlExcellent knowledge of relevant legislationGood communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and meet deadlinesFull UK driving licence and access to a vehicleAdditional informationFlexible working required, including occasional eveningsTravel across the partnership area required</description>
