The organisation is driving significant change through a major waste transformation programme, focused on improving recycling rates, reducing waste and enhancing environmental quality for residents.This is an opportunity to join a high-profile service area that works closely with councillors, local communities and frontline operational teams to address environmental issues across the city.Your new role As Environmental Operations Manager, you will lead and manage a team responsible for protecting public health and the local environment, whilst supporting the delivery of a newly established local investigations function.The role will involve coordinating responses to environmental and public realm issues across multiple service areas, including waste, highways, environmental enforcement and community concerns.
