Environmental Health Officer

Overview

Location: RemoteCarry out detailed food hygiene and safety inspections, audits and risk assessments of commercial food premises, in accordance with the FSA codes of practice, to ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety legislation. Secure improvements in standards by advice, instruction and written correspondence.Responsibilities

To complete approximately 250 inspections comprising of new businesses and D category inspections (Several candidates may work on the contract).To complete inspection proformas and draft electronic inspection reports detailing contraventions and recommendations with appropriate compliance dates within 7 days from the date of inspection.Work is carried out on a pay per inspection basis only.Required Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Environmental HealthCertificate of registration with EHRB or equivalentExperience in food safety interventions and enforcementKnowledge and practical application of Hazard Analysis, risk assessment and food safety management systems.IT competent Microsoft office suiteExcellent verbal and written skillsAble to work outside of office hoursAble to travel throughout the ..... full job details .....
