Key Responsibilities: Investigate fly-tipping, waste and duty of care offences, commercial waste compliance and environmental nuisance complaints. Enforce legislation relating to abandoned vehicles, infestations, public health and highway-related issues. Gather evidence, prepare witness statements and issue Fixed Penalty Notices where appropriate. Respond to resident and elected member enquiries, managing complaints and ensuring appropriate enforcement action is taken. Investigate multiple complaints and work to resolve environmental crime and ASB issues effectively. Essential Requirements: Proven experience in environmental crime enforcement within a local authority.
