Environmental Consultant

OverviewEnvironmental Consultant role at RSK Geosciences. Join the growing team in Bristol and contribute to development projects with an experienced group of environmental professionals.

Responsibilities

Production of environmental management plans including Pollution Prevention and Surface Water Management Plans for construction sites

Auditing construction sites for compliance with Surface Water Management Plans

Advising clients on meeting UK regulatory requirements including the preparation of permits applications and exemptions

Liaison with regulators including the Environment Agency / National Resources Wales

Response and management of environmental incidents including fuel/oil spills, silt discharges, and effluent discharges

On-site training of clients on issues including ecology, contamination and waste management

Production of quotations or tenders for new projects

Management of clients and projects

Person specification

2–10 years of experience in the environmental sector

Ability to deliver projects within a multi-disciplinary consultancy

Ability to work closely and confidently with clients and regulators

Track record in managing time, resources and budgets

Full UK driving licence
