This permanent position, with a salary between £42,000 and £75,000, involves monitoring, interpreting, and implementing regulatory requirements to minimise legal risk. You will support subsidiaries, requiring expertise in EU frameworks such as REACH, RoHS, WEEE, and the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation. The role demands a background in environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, and EHS within a multinational setting. You will be comfortable monitoring, interpreting, and implementing regulatory requirements, supporting subsidiaries, and minimising legal and regulatory risk.
Requirements
Environmental compliance, regulatory affairs and EHS experience of EU environmental legislation and industrial compliance.
Experience working in a multinational organisation, supporting EU regulations REACH, RoHS, WEEE, Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) ,EU Batteries Regulation RYC.
Responsibilities
Regulatory Monitoring and Compliance of environmental legislation and reporting requirements across the EU and relevant national jurisdictions.
Interpret and translate regulatory requirements into clear, practical guidance for local entities.
Risk Assessment and Legal Compliance.
