Environmental Compliance Lead Utilities HSE and Governance Hybrid Includes Travel to Different Locations 3- 6 Months Contract Multiple Locations 550/d Inside IR35 In your role as the Environmental Compliance Lead you will support the environmental compliance activities as well as ensure the company''s Generation assets continue to be a sector leader in environmental compliance and performance through monitoring, reporting, education, advice, and guidance to operational teams. Some of your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Utilise internal and external audit programmes, and the development of leading and lagging performance indicators, to influence the continual improvement of the Environmental Management System.Work with business stakeholders to identify and understand strategic changes and business as usual activities to identify the environmental permitting requirements.Develop and maintain effective relationships with the Environment Agency and other environmental regulators to support variations to the company''s environmental permits.Develop and lead permitting strategies to enable commercial business optimisation.Build and implement business systems to collate, analyse data for internal and external statutory reporting and improvement studies.
