Environmental and Compliance Advisor

The Environmental and Compliance Advisor supports environmental compliance across operations. Reporting to the Head of Environmental and Compliance, the role provides practical advice, guidance and assurance to site teams, helping ensure operations remain aligned with environmental permits, waste regulation, Duty of Care obligations, internal standards and relevant management systems.Client DetailsThis opportunity is with a well-established organisation within its sector. They are a values-led business where Safety First, Teamwork, Ownership, Excellence and Integrity shape how we work every day.DescriptionEnvironmental Compliance and Regulation-Provide practical advice and assurance on environmental legislation, permits and licences across operations, including Environment Agency permits, waste carrier requirements, Duty of Care and relevant ISO standards.Auditing, Risk and Governance-Support internal compliance systems, audit plans and routine assurance activity.Environmental Performance and Sustainability- Drive continuous improvement in environmental performance across sites.
