Supporting major transmission and distribution projects that are critical to the UK''s energy transition, they are seeking an Environmental Advisor to provide environmental support and guidance across a portfolio of high-profile infrastructure works.Key ResponsibilitiesPromote environmental best practice across construction sites and support the delivery of sustainability initiatives.Conduct regular environmental inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company procedures, project requirements and environmental legislation.Support environmental incident investigations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.Assist with the collection, analysis and reporting of environmental and sustainability performance data.Monitor environmental performance and identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.Support the development and implementation of environmental campaigns, improvement plans and project documentation.Advise site teams on environmental compliance requirements, controls and mitigation measures.Assist with the management of environmental permits, consents, licences and planning conditions.Work closely with project teams, ecologists, environmental consultants and regulatory stakeholders.Maintain accurate environmental records to demonstrate compliance with contractual and legal ..... full job details .....
