£75,000 + PackageWe are supporting a market-leading Groundworks Contractor specialising in residential projects, in their search for an experienced Senior Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager. This is a high-profile role with real influence on shaping and elevating HSEQ standards across a well-established, forward-thinking business.The Role:As Senior HSE Manager, you will be pivotal in driving a culture of continuous improvement in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality performance across the company’s operations. You’ll be tasked with auditing, incident investigation, supporting behavioural change initiatives, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards and ESG commitments. This role will see you working across sites, offices, and yards, collaborating with teams at all levels, including board-level interaction.Key Responsibilities:Conduct regular scored audits, inspections, and thorough incident investigationsCollaborate with the Group HSEQT Director for strategic reporting, ESG updates, and pre-construction safety reviewsChampion best practices and ensure compliance with the company’s Common Visual StandardsSupport the retention of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certificationsAttend client and regulator meetings, representing the business with professionalism and technical expertiseAssist in developing and maintaining SharePoint resources and HSE documentationInfluence safety strategies and drive a proactive safety culture across all business unitsWhat We’re Looking For:Strong knowledge of Health and Safety legislation within construction, groundworks, or housebuildingDemonstrable auditing, inspection, and investigation experienceExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skillsProven ability to influence and lead at all levels of an organisationRelevant CSCS card (or working towards) and a commitment to continued professional development (CPD)Desirable:NEBOSH General or Construction CertificateMembership with IOSH, IEMA, or equivalent bodyExperience with integrated management systems and ISO certificationsKnowledge of COSHH, RAMS, and Environmental best practicesIf you’re a seasoned HSE professional looking to make a tangible impact in a dynamic and growing business, we want to hear from you. ..... full job details .....
