SC and NPPV3 Cleared Environment Engineer Location: Remote/CroydonSector: Public SectorContract: ContractorClearance: BPSS + SC Transfer/NPPV3Nationality: UK Passport Holder required Role Overview We are seeking an experienced SC and NPPV3 Cleared Environment Engineer to take ownership of environment management and governance across non-production and production environments. Initial 3 months contract assignment. (Duration is very likely to extend) The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective processes around the flow of change into environments, environment utilisation, ownership and the provisioning or decommissioning of environments. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain a strategy for managing the flow of change into non-production and production environments. Establish effective controls around the use and purpose of existing environments. Manage and govern the process for requesting and provisioning additional environments. Own and maintain the governance framework supporting environment management. Provide clear visibility of environment status and utilisation during daily stand-ups. Maintain an accurate understanding of how environments are being used. Identify and maintain clear ownership of environments. Track environment utilisation and capacity.
