Enterprise Sales Administrator
Enterprise Sales Administrator - Telecoms
Location: Peterborough
Package: £30,000 plus 10% bonus, private healthcare.
We’re recruiting an Enterprise Sales Administrator to join a business connectivity and fibre network provider, supporting its Enterprise sales operation.
This is a great opportunity for an organised, commercially minded administrator who enjoys working in a busy sales environment. You’ll sit at the heart of the Enterprise team, helping ensure customer enquiries, sales orders and onboarding activity move smoothly from initial opportunity through to delivery.
Ideally, you need to be from a telecoms background, but we'll try to keep an open mind across various technology sectors that operate on a B2B basis.
What will you be doing?
You’ll provide day-to-day administrative support to the Enterprise sales team, including:
- Processing sales orders and ensuring information is accurate across CRM, customer documentation and internal systems
- Maintaining customer, partner and opportunity records
- Preparing quotes, order forms, sales documentation and supporting materials
- Supporting new customer and partner onboarding
- Tracking orders, sales activity and outstanding actions through to completion
- Liaising with Sales, Operations, Finance and Service Delivery teams
- Helping ensure a smooth handover from sale through to service delivery and billing
- Maintaining sales trackers, reports and pipeline information
- Supporting meetings, action logs and follow-up activity
- Responding professionally to internal stakeholders, partners and customers
The role has plenty of interaction across the business, so it will suit someone who likes taking ownership and chasing things through rather than simply waiting for the next task to land.
What are we looking for?
You’ll ideally have experience in sales administration, customer administration, order processing, sales support or a similar coordination role.
More importantly, you’ll be someone who is highly organised, accurate and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. You’ll need good communication skills, confidence dealing with different departments and the ability to follow up actions without needing constant prompting.
Experience using CRM or sales systems and good working knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word and Teams will be important. Previous experience within telecoms, connectivity, wholesale, channel sales or a B2B technology environment would be highly advantageous.
Peterborough based, and you'll be in the office 5 days each week (Monday to Friday) so this isn't a remote role.
