Enterprise Architect - Defence, SC Cleared

Overview

SC Cleared Senior Enterprise Architect required to help our client design and deliver secure, complex IT and digital systems for their Defence client. This career opportunity will give you autonomy to work with the senior business leadership to support, shape, and drive innovative architecture for the organisation. The role includes delivering an enterprise-level architecture implementation in a large, complex multi-supplier/multi-platform environment.The ideal candidate will have recently completed a similar role and be looking to apply lessons learned from building complex architecture systems in a new environment. Suited candidates will have a deep understanding of deployed defence technologies, including secure communications, data analytics, mission-critical applications and integrations. You will be proficient in cloud architectures, cybersecurity, software development methodologies, and system integration.Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of secure, complex IT and digital systems for a Defence client.Collaborate with senior business leadership to shape and drive the architecture approach for the organisation.Deliver an implementation of an enterprise-level architecture in a large, multi-supplier/multi-platform environment.Apply lessons learned from previous complex architecture projects to the new environment.Qualifications

Deep understanding of deployed defence technologies, including secure communications, data analytics, mission-critical applications and integrations.Proficiency in cloud architectures, cybersecurity, software development methodologies, and system integration.Desirable: knowledge of MOD Common Architectural Approach (CAA), ISR/ISTAR capabilities, Integrated Sensor Architecture (ISA), MongoDB, VMware, APIs, Kafka, and Systematic applications, ILS and Defence support models and DLODs.Requirements and Preferences
