About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and hard-working Labourer with an Enhanced DBS to join the maintenance team at a busy care facility in Accrington. This role involves supporting the existing maintenance staff with general upkeep, repairs, and day-to-day site tasks. Youandrsquo;ll also be responsible for collecting materials and parts from local suppliers, so a full UK driving licence and your own vehicle are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the maintenance team with general building and site maintenance tasks
Carrying out basic repairs, tidying work areas, and supporting trades on site
Driving to and from local suppliers such as Screwfix and buildersandrsquo; merchants to collect materials
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Maintaining a professional and respectful attitude within a care environment
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS certificate (in date) andndash; essential due to the working environment
Full UK driving licence and own car andndash; essential for travelling to suppliers
Previous experience in a maintenance, caretaking, or labouring role preferred
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to work well as part of a small, friendly team
