English Tutor

We are a Teaching Agency, that strives to make a positive impact in young peoples lives by supporting their development and education. Our Childrens Education Team work with local authorities throughout the Greater Manchester to support vulnerable pupils currently outside of mainstream education. We are looking for a English specialist with exprince supporting dyslexia to support a year 10 student in Sale. Contract/Position Details: Location - M33 Position - SEND English tutor Type of work - Contract Start date - ASAP Duration - ongoing support (possible two year) Part-time- 4 hours per week (female tutor preferred) Minimum rate of pay - GBP25/h Hours - Morning preferred but can be discussed with parents Student has high aims for her GCSE and we are looking for a English specialist with experience on supporting dyslexia to support her in achieving these goals. 2 x 2- hour sessions . QTS is essential. Student is in year 10 and is looking for a tutor who can support her through to get GCSE. Requirements: Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS on Update Service Overseas Police Check (if applicable) 2 years of professional references QTS or equivalent Tutoring experience. Experience working within a SEN setting (preferred, but not required) Further Information: The successful tutor will need to be patient, empathetic and be able to create/deliver learning plans on a 1:1 basis.
