English Tutor

Midlands ETS is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Teacher of English to join our Study Programme team. In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of GCSE and Functional Skills English to our students, helping them to develop confidence, make progress, and achieve their full potential. This role will be based in our Centre in Chelmsley Wood and will be offered on a 42 week term time only basis. You will deliver engaging teaching, learning, and assessment that supports all students from a wide range of educational backgrounds, helping them progress confidently into further study, apprenticeships, or employment. Many of our learners have Special Educational Needs. You will need to apply effective behaviour management strategies and work collaboratively with the whole team, contributing positively to the wider student journey. About you The successful application will need to/have the following: Be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with a passion for English education.Experience of supporting learners with Special Educational NeedsPrevious experience of teaching GCSE Functional Skills EnglishHave strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skillsHave confidence in using IT to support teaching and learning.Hold at least a Level 3 qualification in EnglishGained a recognised Level 5 or Level 6 teaching ..... full job details .....
