A secondary school based in Hounslow, West London, is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher to join their team from November 2026. The school requires a committed teacher with a minimum of two years'' experience teaching English in a secondary school setting. The successful candidate will be confident teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, delivering engaging lessons that develop students'' reading, writing, analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications and Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• A relevant degree in English or a related subject.

• A minimum of two years'' experience working as an English Teacher in a secondary school is essential.

• Proven experience teaching English across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

• Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.

• Experience preparing students for GCSE and post-16 assessments.

• Excellent classroom management and the ability to motivate and inspire students.

• Strong communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.

• The ability to differentiate lessons and support students of varying abilities.
